Yes, if customs establish that the document that should accompany the products is lacking, or that the products are not affixed with a conformity marking or label, required by communal or national Directives, they are requested to suspend the release of the products. The same applies for goods that appear to have such qualities, that makes one presume that these goods form an immediate threat to the health and security under normal and foreseeable user’s circumstances (in conformity with Directive (EEC) Nr. 339/93)
